Ecozen - PCTG Bio-based / Temperature resistant / Transparent copolyester

What material is ECOZEN? It is a transparent high-temperature resistant bio-based copolyester ECOZEN is a new product developed by South Korea's SK Chemical Company. It is a high-temperature resistant and transparent bio-based plastic upgraded on the basis of PETG/PCTG. Its synthesis can be simply expressed as: ECOZEN=TPA+CHDM+EG (or bio-EG)+converted bio-based raw materials.

ECOZEN has excellent properties. In addition to all the excellent properties of PETG/PCTG, it also has the characteristics of high temperature resistance of 100°, so it has broad application prospects in food packaging, infant products, etc. ECOZEN can be used to replace glass, PC, PMMA, PVC, transparent ABS, transparent PP, PS, AS and other materials

Examples of main applications of ECOZEN:

• Sports water bottles, crisper boxes, baby bottles, various water and oil food containers
• Small appliances, including juice machines, soymilk machines, blenders, coffee machines, steamers, and microwave ovens
• Excellent flame retardancy, can be used in building materials, high-end decorative panels, billboards, LED light panels, home appliance components (such as TV frames, bases, etc.)
• Excellent chemical resistance, replacing PCTA, used to make various containers or special-shaped materials with high transparency and high shape requirements
